WARNING SHAMELESS WORTHLESS PLUG TO FOLLOW...so I thought I would post a quick link to our bands myspace page. We did a remake of Lionel Ritchie's Hello that sounds pretty...well, kicking. Actually, we are kinda proud of it and its really getting a lot of pretty serious attention. Our skills at recording ourselves has been greatly enhanced since my last post.

As we know, however, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

While your there, give us a quick add :hug: ...Donny is always bugging me that I don't have enough myspace friends on board. I would love to be able to check out some FC members myspace pages, just for yucks.

The track that you presented reflects a more than capable band, of doing your own stuff!!
 
Well, Mikey, you make a good point. We have a 6 song original CD in the works, but, in our neck of the woods, in order to get paid to play, we have to do cover songs. We all enjoy performing and entertaining A LOT, so we are just trying to fulfill our customers (the bar owners) needs for a band that can play other peoples music and make the bar money.

And, BTW, its a lot more fun going to a bar, playing music, getting paid, and getting free cocktails then just sitting around spending money...

Anyway, perhaps its inappropriate to post this sort of stuff here...but hell if I stopped doing everything that could be deemed inappropriate, I probably would stay in bed 18 hours a day.

I think it's absolutely appropriate to "expose" all your talents, and you obviously, and probably have some "hidden"!!

Mark, are you in Melbourne? Is your wife's shop there? I used to live there. Well actually we lived across the causeway but I used to work in Melbourne.

I like the song alot. It worked well.

Wanda, thank you for your compliments...we really think we did that song some justice and really enjoyed putting a "21st century" spin on it.

Yes, we actually *are* across the causeway, in Indian Harbor Beach (Eau Gallie Cswy and A1A)...I sometimes can't believe what a small world it is! What shop did you work for, if you don't mind me asking?

...and how in the world did you end up in Portland??!?? That's a loooooooonngg way from the beach, girl....:)

This was many years ago (20) and I didn't work in flowers at the time. I worked at Holmes Reg. Med. Center. We lived in Satellite Beach. Small world!!

I loved it there. The only reason I left was because my husband left me and I had no family there. Trying to raise two small kids on my own with no family was too hard and I gave in and came home. Well, sorta. Actually my adopted home since my dad was in the Air Force.

Funny thing is that my second husband (and current one, LOL) spent nine years in Eau Gallie. That was before we met and we actually started talking because he noticed my licence tag said Brevard County on in (which of course stood out to him).

Just to show you have how desperate I was to move, I will share with you that I moved back here to Michigan in Feb....from Florida. Now who does that?? :)
