YES!! It's FRIDAY! I am getting ready and waiting nervously for my time to leave to my new job.

Came back to work at 9 last night left at 4 this morning... back at 9 am... guess I'll be here till the cows come home. Have MD, prom, and wedding Sat.

Rejected 10 orders so far, almost all are for a $30 tf "pretty please" from OG's, .coms & what not.

I can't believe I 'm heading home & it's only 8pm. We have been steadily busy, but with some really good solid helpers, NO PROMS, and a POS, it's a whhhhooooooollllllleeeee different holiday. So this is what it feels like to run your business instead of it running you ..... i like it!

Rock on everybody. Sell your socks off!

Had the pleasure of refusing TFWebs from sending florist only Broadway Florist/Mission Viejo..... no receive, no fill! She just couldn't understand what I was saying.
 
Well, that was a good strong day....whew... 10PM... I'm cooked...

Sorry folks, the merc's off, and so will the phones be tomorrow...

Whoever ordered my flowers, shot a little short...had to scramble today for product...

sent daughter downstate to collect 5 boxes of flowers this a.m. Hopefully we can get caught up early tomorrow a.m.
Definitely could never have planned for getting this slammed. Lots and lots of new customers calling us........Floristware is getting a work out here!
 
We finished up most of the orders at 10:00 pm today, we are going back 7:00am SAturday and looking for a great day, we are almost out of fresh flowers. Great Mothers Day.

So now, it's Noon Saturday

Noon Saturday:

Wholesaler unloaded his truck here this morning...thankfully they had a good variety...

Lines at the counters, all taking hand tied bqts to go... a few corsages to make...

5 trucks out, been running since 8am... still many loads to go...

From what I have heard from those that have called and emailed me, things look to be fairly brisk across North America...

Man am I tired.... I just want to go home...:bloomz:
