The birthday patrol man must be on vacation.

I've never been shy about my birthday. It's today and I am 49 and I don't like it one bit!!! And next year, well, I can't even begin to go there.

Our plumber was here the other day at the shop and something we were talking about made him say he was older than me. I said, "I don't think so". He asked, "Are you in your 40's?"yet . Now that made my year!!!

I have a very good role model of age in my mom who will be 82 in October and still works with us here Mon-Sat 9-6. She runs circles around us - must be all that clean living and great disposition.

Happy Birthday, Patty! A wise friend of mine told me the 40's were the best years of her life...how true! I just turned the big 5 oh!!! in February and she told me the 50's were even better! When my dear friend turned 60 she never mentioned birthdays again! I have 10 good years left! Hope your day is bloomin' with love, fun and joy!
