My bridal fayre that i organise from start to finish is tomorrow night. I am sooooooo nervous its untrue. While all the stands are in place and paid up, cat walk organised and ready i am nervous in case no one turns up. Last year they were queueing up at the start to get in and we had a great turn out but i am just worried. The last couple of bridal fayres i have attended have had rubbish attendance and i am worried in case this is the credit crunch rather than bad event management. Oh no, what have i done...... I love doing these but they really get to me in the final few days run up.

Please think positive for me for tom, i dont think there is anything i can do now but wait. Butterflies in my stomach, i have had to have a drink (for medicinal purposes of course you understand), to settle myself.
 
Palms, if they were lining up to get in last year, that means that they've been spreading the word for an entire year. All will go well. How can it be otherwise with you at the helm?

Share some pictures of the event, will you?
 
Thanks guys, yes i will defo share some pics, i have been tossing and turning all night with my mind just playing overtime and oh no its raining like mad here. I hope they dont let that put them off.

I will feel better once seven o clock has passed and there are some brides present for the show!!

Sorry to sound so pessimistic, this is the panic in me.

Good luck Palms !!! Sending a NON-nervous Hug !!:hug: I dont think the Credit crunch will stop brides looking.....but maybe will delay the date of the their wedding??? It will be fine !!

It went brilliant

Just thought i would let you all know that the fayre went brilliant. We had a great turn out, it was really packed. Quite a few of the vendors had a few bookings on the night and guess what....

I modelled the dresses as well... Can you believe it. They were a model short and it would have effected the show so i went for it. I had a girl covering my stall and as you know when the show is on, no ones looks at the stands. I was really nervous but once i got out there i didnt look back. I like to try anything once so i can tick that off my things to do list now.

Thanks for all your kind words, i will put some pics up in my gallery over the next few days if you want to peek...

wow, i can sleep tonight all night wayyyy

Watch out Heidi Klum...here comes Palms!

Way to go on your wedding show! I'm so glad everything turned out great. I hope you get a lot of bookings from the contacts you made. YAY for you!
 
None of us had any doubts Palms. ;) Well done and good on you for participating on so many levels. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Thanks so much, not sure i want to see the pictures of the catwalk, shall we say the dress was a little bit tight lol

Because I've been away I didn't get a chance to wish you good luck but am sooooooo pleased it went well. Remember to send me a report and/or pics so that I can promote the fact that 'going for it' despite all the doom and gloom is worth it.

Ok, Now the pics are working i thought i would post the pics of the bridal fayre. I have only posted two, one of me on the catwalk for the giggle and one of my stand and table. You have to remember its only a very intimate event... Enjoy your laugh, oh and i usually look happier than this but i am concentrating on not falling over in a wedding dress that is veryyyyyyy tight!!
