Hi, im not sure canada is awake yet but hopefully someone can help me. I have a customer wanting to send a funeral spray to an address in North Bay, Ontario and she said that the local florist is called Jackmans florist and could i use them. I have had a look on the net and there is a company called jackmans but it dont look very local to me, and i dont want to get caught out with an order gatherer. So if anybody knows if this florist has a website or even another local florist to that area that delivers to north bay, then can they please help me out with a link, thanks. :thumbsup

Hi Dee Dee:

I checked out North Bay's site and Jackman's is a local business.

Hope this helps.

oh thanks victoria :thumbsup, do you not think they have their own website then? Im not really wanting to ring them, much easier order online if poss.

Personally I would prefer to ring them, particularly with a funeral order. It's almost 5:30 here so wait for a bit. ;)

lol, yeah best wait a bit, thanks for your help, if i phone at 2.30pm here then they should be up I recon :thumbsup

Wait till threeish your time just to be sure.

They are also a order gatherer for SEARS.
Flowers by Sears is run by Jackmans in North Bay.

I could go on and on but I prefer to use the other ones and they are just as good.

oh do you have a link Luc, its going to McGintys funeral parlour in North Bay, do you deliver there?

To be fair here, Jackman's is a flower shop in North Bay. Whether or not they accept orders for Sears, or Teleflora or FTD or whomever isn't what I looked into.

Why are you playing games?

The customer specifically requested you use Jackmans, so why are you looking elsewhere?

I don't think it's your role to be the "flower police" in this case, but WTFDIK.

True. Customer requested therefore customer should get.

It's "Jackman's, the Flower People" (ya, you read that right - no relation to Martin's, the Flower People). They are a legit florist and an OG.

FWIW - I don't recall good things about Rosebowl - I think we had a fight or three with them.

I am not playing games, I was trying to help my customer

I was looking elsewhere because Jackmans dont seem to have a website and my accent is broad scottish, beleive me I am not easy to understand and I find it difficult to understand some English accents never mind Canadian. On top of that I would have to work out the exchange rate as well as pay for a premium rate phone call from the uk and quite frankly it was all rather a bother since i had already spent about 2 hours looking for the illusive Jackmans. I could just as easily have put this order through teleflorist where for all i know could have went through a supermarket or the likes with a much depleted order value. As I said I was trying to help my customer who I offered the telephone number to (thanks for that Victoria.) but she also has a strong accent and did not want to ring Canada. In the end my customer is happy and I am happy and dont really think it is your role to be "the florist police" either

Only when somebody implies that I'm "full of it"...which in this rare case, I'm not.

So I go to Google "Jackmans North Bay", and lo & behold the first three that come up are...

http://www.bloomendirect.com/northbayflorist_mcr/contact.html

http://www.floralpros.ca/jackmans/contactus.shtml

http://www.jackmans.com/

All three had North Bay contact information.

Took me three minutes...not sure why it took you over two hours...but whatever...

Book 'em, Danno!

Im not implying anything but anyway, as i said in my first post I had already found a website, which was the first one, and I was checking on here (where people are usually friendly) that I was not ordering from an OG. We dont have OG in the uk apart from relay and a lot of people on here seems to be always complaining about them. You know I dont even know why im having this conversation, lets just say in future I wont be asking, it really isnt worth it if people cant bring themselves to be civil

Dee Dee... Jackman's is the florist I would use for your order. They are a reputable florist.
