well the above message looks a little automated, so i thought I'd jot down a few lines.
I'm Jack, live in Australia and operate a small online florist business. I work from home which has it's drawbacks and positives (no rent yeah).

Really looking to expand my knowledge of how the industry operates and hopefully make a few friends along the way.

Most of the flowers sold in local florist shops and grocery stores are first shipped from the farm to a national distributor, then to a regional wholesaler, then to a local florist shop, and then finally to you. Our flowers were cut just 24-48 hours ago when they reach you. The flowers at local shops and grocery stores are at least 8-10 days old, maybe older. Fresher flowers means longer lasting flowers.

That's a GrowerFlowers.com mirror targeting the US. I believe jackorama's site is http://www.bloominglovely.com.au/

It's basically pages with affiliate links that redirect to http://www.florist.com.au/ which is mirrored as http://www.flowerfactory.com.au/ .

Jockorama - your operation appears to be an affiliate marketer of flowers (using doorway pages) rather that a florist.

I will most likely do the same, just trying to give a little leeway. I see he/she was online 12 hours ago, just want him to know I'm still waiting a bit to decide. Guess I'm feeling a little soft today.
