Here's some of the pics of Jessica and Brett's November 16, 2007 wedding. We had the time of our lives! The wedding was held at The Society Hill Dance Academy, Philadelphia PA. This is old town Philly with beautiful cobblestone streets. Some of the coolest photos were taken with Jess & Brett just being themselves, strolling down the cobblestone streets. A very non-traditional bride, Jessica's dress was made by her groom's mother, her hat was fashioned by a ~real~ milliner who is 77 years old-the hat is from the 40's era. The bride and groom wrote their own vows and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when they locked a bottle of wine, two glasses and love letters to each other in a box with the promise that if they ever encountered difficulties in their marriage, they would open the box, drink the wine and read the love letters. Sooooo sweet! The box will otherwise be opened on their 10th Anniversary and the wine and love letters will be shared. I'm betting on the 10th Anniversary box opening...Jess & Brett are no doubt in love! BTW-couldn't use the red amaryllis for Jessica's bouquet-they opened a week later! Had to go with Plan B-red intuition roses, pepperberry, seeded eucalyptus, hypericum and a touch of black feathers for the theatrical side of Jessica! Enjoy the pics...I included pics of the fabulous entertainment-Martha Graham Cracker, the sensational drag queen and pics of the photo booth we had in operation during the wedding! Special thanks to Rick King for assisting me with great advice to create the way too cool submerged cymbidium centerpieces! Jessica performed at her wedding with the drag queen. They sang several songs together and Jess gave a solo performance to her groom singing "Faithfully" by Journey! The wedding was a blast! It was everything Jess & I planned and then some! All that planning...and the night goes by so quickly! We are blessed with special memories that will last a lifetime!

Now that's a party worth sharing. Love the flowers. Glad everyone obviously had a great time and thanks for sharing.

V :)

What fun! Love the centerpieces and the photo of Jessica giving the thumbs up. Beautiful bouquet also!

What a BLAST! and great flowers. Those are the weddings that are memorable!

Love the pics, love the flowers, especially the suspended dangling gerbers from the candelabras.

Your daughter is gorgeous, and her groom is d-r-e-a-m-y. And you look like you had a great time! Glad it all came together - I actually like the Intuitions with just the feathers & accents better than having amaryllis mixed in there.

thanks for posting pics!

This looks like the most "funist" wedding I have ever seen. You really worked hard! Everything was just beautiful especially the sheer happiness on your daughters face...wow...talk about the happy bride. Good job Mom...

SEE DIANE!!!!
You were worried fur nuthin!!

I just LOVE a great wedding, where everyone can just let it ALLLLL hang out, and this looks like one funnest zinger, and I just love YOU for sharing!!
There is NOTHING BETTER, when it's obvious, that the bride and groom REALLY, TRULY appreciate each other's company, and I'M DARN SURE, that in TEN years, a "box" is gonna open with the sweetest of memories, and wines!!:kuddle:

Wow, could they look happier?? I think not! Congrats, Mom, it all looks just wonderful! And those roses are the bomb (as the kids say)!

Beth :~)
