MY NAME IS JIM PLUMMER. MY WIFE MARTY AND I OWN A 3000 sq ft SHOP IN CHARLOTTESVILLE VA AND ARE IN A REBUILDING STAGE FOLLOWING THE LOSS OF MY BROTHER IN LAW BILL PENSYL , A GREAT DESIGNER AND BUSINESS PARTNER IN EARLY DECEMBER OF LAST YEAR.... AND WE THOUGHT WE WERE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING! BILL DIED AT HIS DESIGN STATION IN THE MIDDLE OF MAKING CHRISTMAS BOWS FOR A CUSTOMER.
WE ARE HAVING SUCCESS REBUILDING A STRONG TEAM! IT REALLY IS A TEAM FOCUSED APPROACH AND FORTUNATELY FOR US THERE ARE MANY WELL QUALIFIED FLOWER PEOPLE IN THE JOB MARKET IN OUR AREA.
I HAVE OVER 30 YRS EXPERIENCE IN SERVICE MANAGEMENT AT MANY LEVELS....BUT THIS INDUSTRY IS VERY CHALLENGING AND REQUIRES A DIFFERENT SENSE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THE MAJOR WIRE SERVICES DON'T COME CLOSE TO WHAT IT'S REALLY ALL ABOUT.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss you and your family suffered. I'm sure Bill will be missed and remembered always.

I've ALWAYS dreamed that I would die with a "tool" in my hands.....it appears that Bill died with his hands on his love of flowers, and his near his cherished family!!...Ww all have stories to tell...hope you join, so we can share!

First I add my condolences for the loss you suffered, I can only imagine how traumatic that loss would be. I hope you take comfort in the fact that Bill was doing what he most loved to do, sharing his passion until the end.

You have found the very best resource available, so congratulations on finding this forum. I will echo the others in that suggestion that you may want to seriously consider a full membership here to be able to take full advantage of the incredible amount of knowledge residing here.
