Well crap, I go there alot...no more and I will tell the manager why! Also will tell our rep. what I think.

I'm confused why you guys are surprised. FTD and TF are the biggest OGs out there. And most of you guys here support them. :)

In some cases we **USE** them... I see a difference in that and **supporting** them....

Time's....they be a chang'n again....

discounted?????

Looks like they have been inflated before the 10% to bring them back to TF suggested retail. Isn't that a deceptive practice.......Hmmmmmm. I can't believe they are not underselling the product but why not be upfront and honest and let the price be the price when they know they aren't going to fill those orders themselves, instead of adding to the price to fake a deal. The Be Happy Mug suggested retail is $34.99 if memory serves. I do roses at $50-$55 on regular longstem doz. with and without filler. Discounts are for the filler to offer not the seller.

<turning hat around on head so visor is in the back>

Well, I think this is pretty good news! You know, I try to gather every order that comes to my area because I need the outgoings to pad my monthly sales figures and to pay my delivery drivers.

To me, the more cross-branding, the better it is for my wire numbers! These big retailers use their incredible brand power and marketing muscle to convince customers that otherwise might not buy flowers to use them, which, of course, has the potential for ME to get more orders a month. What's to complain about here, right? We all know we cannot survive without that wire hookup sending us work...

Let's get real...this is the future of flower sales and anyone not jumping on *this* bandwagon is in real danger of getting run over by it. Why, can't you see in the future where ALL orders will come from these huge multinationals? Being a filler florist is the ONLY way to survive this onslaught, and the idea of being a corporate filler/employee/drone makes me tingle inside with anticipation of margin squeezing and over-promised commitments that will SURLY come as the highly paid bean-counters at Sears and Jo-Annes justify their salaries by convincing the executives that 45-50% cut is more in line with the "corporate mission" then the current 28% is!

Whew, that was quite a sentence..sorry about running on like that but, you know, more orders are coming as a speak and I see nothing but dollar signs...yippee!

Even when you "use" them, they make a buck. I respect you a lot Mark and know you work hard to fight this catch 22.

Yeah 12bucks, that was funny. lol

I do find it odd that they refer to themselves as Teleflora Flowers throughout the entire add, that is a new one for me as I have only heard them refer to themselves as Teleflora. I guess it is all about marketing.

oh how we love teleflora

i just opend my flower shop. I will NOT use Teleflora, for that being one of the reasons. The other is that they want YOUR customer base.Play the game with teleflora.Tell them you want to cancel teleflora, they will offer you 3 free months to stay.save yourself some money. I use floralsource and i love it . 59.00 a month and i don't get penalized for not sending out orders. Florists lets stick together. who knows maybe 1 day we will overcome and win
