We have been in business 29 years. I have no formal floral education other than having grown up in the business. Bill Schodowski at Transflora told us of FlowerChat. I would like to share ideas with others on how to succeed in these hard times and ventilate concerning mutual problems (e.g. are all the order gatherers' call centers now in India?). I feel I can contribute ways we are succeeding in challenging times. We operate from a commercial building.

We are proud of our website, www.harkinsneworleans.com, one of the good things happening after Katrina while we were shut down.

I loved your site (especially the tounge & cheek attitude). Great Consumer's Beware sectio. For the record, I like the new look.

I hope you will become an active member!! There are plenty of Order Gatherer posts to fuel your fire.

P.S. Rhonda, FatCat flowers is from NewOrleans... I haven't heard from her in a while

Yep, I know Peggy did (originally from Bangor Maine !)
but there was someone else a couple of months ago - a daughter maybe?
