My wife and I are opening our 1st floral business, Fairy Blossoms in the Virginia Beach area and are looking for ideas from others on how to make it successful. My wife has worked in the industry and she is excited to take on this new adventure.

We are tailoring our services to weddings, funerals, corporate accounts and other floral services.

Thanks for the welcome. This will be my wife's full time career while I still work my regular job. She is super excited about the designing and the day to day operation with me in the wings for support, administrative and free labor for everything else.

Welcome Josh.... advice? You'll get a bunch of that here.... my main suggestion would be to never get in bed with wire services (FTD-TF-800F) there are better ways... hook up with different florist groups on FaceBook, not only for industry information, but inspiration as well...
