This customer (who happened to take one of my workshops and heard how helpful it is to know a bit more about the occasion/purpose for an arrangement to help the designer in evoking the right emotions) is looking for 2 vases (pronounced vozez) of holiday greens for her Christmas party buffet table tomorrow night. She wants them to be JOYFUL. Question: What can I add to make the Greens Joyful? Painted birch, ribbon, glittered ting? Any, all suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

oh I like the idea of the Christmas tree thing

or a music theme, notes glitter branches

or candy cane/ribbon candy theme

I'm partial to curly Australian pine. People react well to it because of the whimsical monkey tail-like shape.
Thanks, I don't have any, have never seen it, but will definitely look for it next year. Sounds really cool. The things you learn here....

I like the red vases...I think they're "joyful"! I would add some red berries and probably some glitz...we have been selling anything glitzy this year. Sparkly gold, red, and green has been popular.
