July 4th Weekend/ Canada Day

Ok-looking forward to a long weekend? We are closing sunday monday for sure-still on the fence about saturday...what are you doing?? For our Canadian friends will you guys be open this weekend? How should we advise senders? Wherever you are have a fantastic weekend!
 
Closing Friday -> Sunday, re-opneing Monday.

Some of us are not that lucky...

I have to come in on Friday to do a wedding that is being picked up on Sat. Our town is celebrating 50 years, lots of people and lots of balloons to blow up for parade on Sat.
I am also in a mall and we have to be open on Sat.

For the Fourth...it's I AM OUTA HERE and off to the lake house...

Closing at 1 on Friday, re-open Tuesday at 8am...
 
We have two weddings to deliver on Saturday but outside of that we are closed Saturday - Monday re-open 8:30 Tuesday morning. Our Full time employees all get paid for the 4th and we scheduled all full timers for monday though Friday this week so Saturday was there day off.
 
We're closed Friday, open Saturday, closed Sunday. I'm lucky, my regular day off is Saturday so I've got a long weekend.

We have just one wedding & it's on Friday. So we will be closed Sat, Sun, Mon, & Tues. All of our fresh flower & plant suppliers are running a day late because of the Monday holiday. Plus, around here, everybody usually heads for cooler areas like the lakes or beaches. (Including me! Yea! Vacation!!!!)
It's a virtual ghost town here every year around 4th of July!
 
We'll be open, but fewer hours, Saturday. We'll transfer the phones to my cell phone for Monday in the event of funeral needs. We're closed on Sundays anyway, and that is when my family will be having our own celebration.

I'm leaving in about 30 minutes for a 2000 mile rt motorcycle ride to Hollister Ca., down the Oregon/California coast thru the redwoods and San Francisco and Santa Cruz. 125,000 motorcycles there last year.
Y'all have a hippy 4th! Get some relaxing darn time off.

out of here at 1pm Friday and off to the lake for a LONG and long anticipated weekend. Closed till Tuesday morning.

In our town you can roll up the sidewalks and use the road for bowling, dead, dead, dead. Been seeing RVs already heading north this morning. This is my only vacation this summer and I'm taking advantage. :newbie
 
by the way.....

all you REAL FLORISTS here.......you deserve the little time off you get...enjoy it, re-charge with it, and spend time with it!!
