Those of us that follow NASCAR all know that Junior is making a move, the question on the top of our minds is where to?

My *guess* is Joe Gibbs Racing, to become teammate's with his buddy Tony Stewart, and with Visa as his new sponsor. Gibbs will not allow a Budweiser, or any other alcohol sponsor in his stable.

Another option would be his own team, at Junior Motor Sports, with Hendricks motors...

There are other options of course. Some are thinking RCR, Childress has expressed interest, but Junior has already said he does not want to drive the #3 until near the end of his show...even though RCR already has a Black #3 Budweiser car already built.

The announcement will come in the next few days, perhaps tonight after the Busch race...

I don't know why but I just hate to see Dale part with Bud. There's nothing wrong with Gibbs' team and I really don't know what my hangup is with him driving that red bud car...it's just...junior.

Either RCR or Joe Gibbs is my guess...but, I never thought he would leave DEI either so who knows! I have stopped following it until he actually picks a team. I listen one day and they say one thing and then the next something different.

I think Gibbs is too uppity and personally would like to see Jr. go to Ginn. I think that team is moving in the right direction and the influx of the Bud money would put them even more into the Roush/Hendrick/Gibbs mix.
Childress has really struggled with Harvick although one of my favs, Jeff Burton is right there most weeks.
But the betting money I guess is going to Childress because of the "legend" (not my opinion).
I have Sirius in my van and love to listen to the NA$CAR channel...lots of opinions there too!

yep, the talk is on..and all bets are on Hendrick. 11 a.m. I'll just have to go to get a Dunkin coffee (radio only in the van).

Hubby says Jr. went with Hendricks. Jr. said he wanted to keep driving a Chevrolet, but that was surely not the only reason.

I guess what Hendricks gets is a name that will bring them a lot of money but are they getting a great driver. Jr has only two checker flags over last few years while driving great equipment. Is he really a great driver or is he an average driver like Kevin Lepage except he has great equipment to drive?

I am really more of a short track fan but this will be interesting to watch

It's been a running joke with them. Apparently Hendricks and Junior had a "napkin contract".
