You have got to be kidding me? That press release is un@#&!*believable.
With this come the numerous fraudulent florists that claim to be local florist and undermine the real flower shops that are trying to get an online exposure.
OK - I'd make this spammy fake directory #1 with a bullet. These are the same guys that had fake Mapquest locations for their growerflower.com affiliates for every city in the US and Canada.

This is same guy that says
In recognition of outstanding local florist websites: Look for sites that carry the Florist-Directory.Net award seal for you can be assured you are dealing with a quality true local florist.
on this page http://www.florist-directory.net/Awards.asp while naming only growerflower.com affiliates with NO local presence.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry. Mlou, thanks for finding that info.

Interesting...

Yes, I saw this PR yesterday as well. It is interesting that they list all the grocery store florists as well.

Based on what has been said here about the growerdirect.com affiliation, I am not understanding what the PR is for, if the content on their site doesn't reflect the principle so highly boasted in the PR?

Smoke and mirrors.... BUT... now Real Florists have those fancy Xray glasses...

It looks to me like just yet another "florist directory" in the making, except instead of defaulting to someone's shop when there is no listing, it defaults to drop ship flowers.
Getting pretty SOP now.
Click the "get listed" link on the right nav bar. $99 a year
