I know I have been getting up early and going to my suppliers the last two days in a row, and I know it Friday but I can't believe what I just did. Got an order for a $200.00 arrangement, that's why I had to go to the suppliers this morning. So anyhow, earlier in the week I got a gallon of Chrystal Clear and a gallon of Finishing Touch, well..........long story short, running out of Finishing Touch and filled my spray bottle. Went and sprayed the $200.00 arrangement, noticed it was a little sticky, yep you guessed it, sprayed it with Chrystal Clear instead, :dunno: hoping it doesn't kill the flowers, I resprayed with water to disolve the Chrystal Clear and then re sprayed with Finishing Touch, so far they look okay, but boy I hope I didn't harm them, I guess it is not as bad as when I srayed the bridal bouquet with a bleach cleanser, talk about panic, that didn't make it! Oh well, thought I would share my wonderful Friday, glad it's almost time to close up!

.....and people wonder why we're all a wee bit mad!!
I have a sign hanging up in my kitchen...."When in doubt..add more wine" !!!
Sounds like the merlot is calling your name today!
There is NO feeling on earth like that sinking one when ya just KNOW things have gone sideways....Here's to a better week ahead!
Hey....we've ALL been there too!

The other day, my foot caught the wire leg of an easel bearing a large funeral spray. And I was in a florist which was not my own. There was a moment of complete silence in the entire shop as we watched that spray crash to the floor! I was already pulling out my checkbook because I just knew that it was ruined, and it was filled with roses and oriental lilies. Can you believe that everything was unharmed? I almost cried. Someday we'll be able to laugh about that one, but in the meantime, I'm still cringing.

Mikey Is Right On That One!

Your right that it won't happen again, just like the bleach cleanser incident, no matter how busy "read the label" will now apply. And Jeannie, I have that sign in my shop, it is a great seller, and yes it was a Merlot night! Wonder what today will bring. Connie, I would of wanted to curl up and die if that happened to me, you must of had an angel watching out for you that day! Well getting close to opening, wishing all a good and profitable day!

One of the shops where in Houston had a driver back over their funeral sprays...We still laugh about it. How can you forget to load a funeral spray and leave it standing behind the van?
