I do understand the logic behind it tho....just hurts my feelings that the poor ol' product gets bashed about so much!

a friend got flowers through Miami from FB and she was upset because one box was not taped, the strapping was gone from the inside and heads were broken inside the box. I knew immediately what it was and told her, Inspections. For quite a while we got carnations through that a rod had been rammed through the box ends and you could see the holes on the tops of the boxes where they had probed them. Really was a pain because of the broken stems and heads. They must have had a good tip this past week to do so many searches..

And we wonder why product shows up damaged???
Someone really needs to get involved and address this issue...they need to be trained how to handle the stuff. I think this is an issue for the importers in MIA to take on...
Luckily it looks like only 3 of my 45 boxes got opened last week....

Sometimes half of our boxes have been opened. If we have a complaint about a product, it is almost always from one of those boxes. Now the reason is evident.
