As some of you know we went retail, and low and behold that Just Flowers got one of my employee's it was an order for dz red roses with that of 4 birds of Paradise in it, with one white rose for 110.00 Ok, We ca do it for that price order was sent to us at 4 am on the 6th for deliver by 8 am on Sat the 6th of December we go no one at home, and then today and yesterday, I called the recipent several time, well come to find out the numbers were wrong all over the place, and just saw the orginal order, well everything was right on the customers order, adn the total cost he was charged was 160.00. Well I just got Just Flowers on the phone with customer on the phone as well with me, and asked about the total, The customer went off the deep end with them, and at the same time his cell rings, It is just flowers telling him it was delivered on Saturday, and well it is here in the store, so that goes to show, and they are going to give hime a full refund after I screamed at them for an hour over this BS they were trying to pull, and yes he paid me direct, I am so sick of these companys'' and asked him why he called them, because the told him they could do birds, and local companys couldn't,,,well he know knows to call us,,,,I am so mad as I am typing this, about this type of crapola, ,,,,,,,So that is wrong, Just had to vent....

Then why are you filling for them?

Eliminate them, less frustration!!!!!!!!!!!

I have done in the past, receive orders, and if there was a way of finding where the sender is from, call him up and talk to them.

Disguise your voice and ask just flowers that you want to veridy the address your wife had given them and get more information from them. And you can say, by the way what address did my wife gave you, I would like the copy of the bill sent to my office....

There is ways around this....
The companies now use that line often. There is no florist in that town or, they did not have the product all of those lies just to ge t the orders.

Well you are right, but as I stated, one of my employees took it, and she didn't know, as of now she is so darn upset blaming herself, young girl, and heavens, I don't blame her, the Queen was out, when the order was taken, So it has now been taken care of, but,,,they are using other names as well, So it is hard to keep up with the new girls, not my regular ones, they know the drill, So I have it all blocked even on the phne so they can't even call,,,
 
They are back to the "can I give it to you over the phone " routine....our "system is down...yeah....let me think this over...NO! And why not they ask? Well, it's hard to collect from you guys without a paper trail so sorry, actually..NOT REALLY...please find someone else to fill your orders.
Of all the OG'S, I find them to be the most coniving and distasteful. As Luc says..Be Gone...You have no power here!

I got suckered last MD. One of my temps didn't know who they were. The address was wrong and way out of my delivery area. Here's some good Karma for you though. The recepients phone number was actually the senders phone number. MD was on Sat, so after leaving a message we tried to deliver it. Couldn't find the house because the address was wrong. Monday I call again and got the sender. He tells me just flowers called and the order was delivered. Well, they had not been and after explaining to the sender the JF deal, he cancelled his order and now uses my shop when he sends flowers to his mom. Which he does often.
 
Yeah we pretty much don't take orders from just flowers, 800, wesley, bloomnet, etc..

Pretty much anybody who is listed in our phone book as "local" or anyone who is listed on the web as being in our town aka "local florist".

The one I hate the most is 800. you should have seen a couple of months ago when the 800 rep came in the shop and said to me "He'd like to talk to the manager about 800" I told him "Trust me, you really don't want to talk to me." Then I smiled and told him I needed to get back to work. I exhibited unbelievable control that day. I was very proud of how I handled myself.

Yes the customer came in with all reciepts that they email to them, and today he came in to the store and ordered more items from us, He is darn mad about this, So today, called the fools and let them have it again as well, with the mood , I am lately it doesn't take much, SO they knew to give him his money back, he has yet to see it on cc thing as of yet. He stated" He sent an email blast to everyone in his office to let them know about what they are all about, Because the get like 15 percent off if they order from them, The top dog as he put it is not happy about all of this,,, So he has made his mission to let all companys that he works with know, infact, one of my other customers who knows this guy got one of the emails, So I will see if I can lay my hands on it to post here..
