My name is Kristina Callaghan, I am an owner of a start-up (that is not open at the present time) Fleur de lis Event Floral Designs in Bedford, New Hampshire. I am currently finishing my Certified Floral Designers course with the Floral Design Institute in Oregan. As of today, my website has not been created, but content is being designed. Upon graduation I would love to work as a free-lance designer for local shops.
I will soon be a CFD. Our state floral association is not very active, but I am hoping to help it rejuvenate. I have 11 years of experience in Financial operations, 5 years in event management, and work as a business consultant for nonprofits across the nation specializing in the early childhood education organization. I have loved flowers picking, arranging and growing all of my life, and the recent economy provided me some much needed "down-time" to reconnect to my bliss.
I'm interested in learning all I can about running a floral business and deciding where buying and existing business vs a virtual business is the best in the current economy. To the site, I can bring my knowledge of financial management and operations, as well as my business knowledge to help others succeed.
