My wife Sherry and I, Henry are the proud owners of a pretty little shop nestled in the Foothills of Northern California.
Half- way from our capital Sacramento and the Mighty lake Tahoe.
We took over this small shop located between two towns AUBURN and GRASS VALLEY, actually in a small, tiny, minuscule group of very nice people.
We were trained by two of the major florists, at the time, in Los Angeles.
We decided to escape L.A and settle here in the middle of nature.
I was born in France, Sherry is a native Californian/American Indian and a great designer.
So to talk only business, We have only fresh flowers and great plants that we buy every other day.
We have silk flowers also.
Since we are in a small community we have to be generous and innovative in our designs.
We love what we do, it is a lot of fun and very rewarding.
We have a superb reputation and a great relationship with our customers.
One important thing : some years back we got rid of I-800FLOWERS, no pain felt in fact some relief.
We are now dropping TELEFLORA, good organisation, but not enough orders and too much money taken in between.
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for us to talk directly to each other.
We need you, Guys and we need florists friends to send out our orders to.

Henry, Welcome to FlowerChat! It is nice to have a fellow Californian on board. I read that you were down here in L.A. What shop(s) did you work at? We are in Rosemead, 15 minutes east of downtown Los Angeles (near Pasadena).

Thank you for your welcome.
When we were in L.A 30 years ago, I worked for David Jones on Sunset, and later for Milo Bixby, In San Marino, near Pasadena.
Two of the greatest florists of the time, David took care of all the flowers for the Entertainment and soap operas shows, and Milo took care of all Downtown L.A.
Milo Bixby died some years ago, I do not know about David.
It has been so long ago.
I had the greatest time working for the greatest.
