I hope that each everyone on here stays safe with this issue, even if you think it is just alergy's don't assume it is, because the syptoms are about the same, and if you shake hands with some one please keep perel in you pocket, and clean your hand, and keep all surfaces clean that come in contact with the public, even after they walk out the door, that bug can live for 72 hours, on any surface,

Like, flowers? Wondering about the Mexican product we get, if it's at risk in any way. And I'm surprised to not see any warnings or dismissals of panic from growers / SAF about any problems with flowers transmitting the virus ....

WE have to be very careful about this flu, But we cannot panic.

We have to be smart...keep hands washed (the #1 transmission factor) constantly... As much as it may hurt, stay behind the counter and engage in conversation at a length. Anyone with a cough, sneeze, or raspy voice other than normal....
Tis mostly common sense and cleanliness (yes, Queen, I did see that it can live 72 hours on any surface)....
But...it also is not basically a "killer"....tis mild actually considering some flus that have morphed and become antibiotic proof. This one isn't!

I spoke to a nurse today and she said that it isn't a big concern for folks except those that have a depressed immune system. Anyone else heard this?

Michigan update.

The lady is in livingston county and it wasn't confirmed.. yet. Thank heavens she is not affiliated with MSU as an employee etc. 40,000 + students on the campus.

However there is one confirmed case in Ottawa county and the hosp sent her home to get better.

I heard this am a death in Texas???

I would assume being aware is the best policy. However I am NEVER one to panic over things like this. The media just loves to scare people to death.
Maybe it's me, but I wouldn't even think about going into a full blown panic unless thousands were dropping dead from this thing.
