Les Paul died today.

From a fan who would have killed to have just the talent in his pinkie fingernail.

For those that don't know, Les Paul was not only a brilliant guitar player, he invented the electric guitar and multi-track recording. I have a Gibson Les Paul. It is a thing of beauty.

Les Paul form Wisconsin

Les Paul was from Waukesha, WI
Not too many months ago he was on stage in Waukesha and I immediately applied for tickets and it was probably sold out before it was even announced.

I still enjoy his hits of the mid 1900s.

65 miles from his home, and I never heard him in person. Sad.
