at 1:22 am this morning, Sandie's mom passed away, quietly, and comfortably, but suddenly, and without warning,
I imagined the phone call, at first, or so I thought, but, the emergency trauma dept was on the phone asking us to get down to Hamilton General right away!!
Withing a few seconds of arriving, Sandie, her sister Dianna, brother in law Ross, and I, were wisked aside, and told that she had JUST died,as we were coming in, and the family's wishes were upheld, that only mild resusitate actions be taken, and the trauma doctor, was amazing, in presenting the bad news.
After some time with her, at her bedside, the grieving process began, and we all left...Sandie and I looking for the nearest open Tim Horton's......
Suddenly, we realized we had forgotten her teeth, by her bedside, so, raced back to the hospital emergency dept, to retrieve her plates, so it begins.....

Mike,

I know this has been a tough time for you and Sandie. I am glad to here the end was peaceful for Mom. We're praying for comfort for all of you, and strength to get through these next few hectic days.

Please be sure to let us know when / where the funeral will be held.

Ryan (& Janis)

Peaceful rest for Mom...I'm glad you aren't sending her up without her smile. I send hugs to both of you.

My Dear Friends ,
Our Love and sympathies goes to all families involved.
IT was a pleasure meeting her mom once when we where down there.

Beyond the edge of time,
there is a place where
hapiness and rest
wait hand in hand,
and sunlight skip across
the very face of God.

It is a place where everlasting peace
has embraced your loved one
and taken this very special person home.
May it greathly strengten you to know
that a loving God always knows best
Wishing you peace
During your Time of loss

May the Great Spirit watch over her, and your family at this time.

Mike, if there is anything I can do long distance, you know, all you have to do is ask....

Know that all our thoughts and prayers are with you, Sandie and your family.

The girls at Mann's.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your lovely bride. The passing is time for reflection, the good and bad times, the laughter and tears. And as I have found, the healing of preparing the flowers for your loved ones brings much relief knowing the special touch you will use, the care you will take, and the finished work done with love.

Mike and Sandie,
Jane and I send our deepest condolences at this difficult time.
Hugh
