At the end of a long, busy week, I am at home alone for a short while.
No TV, phone, fax, or confusion, just the calming sound of the washer and dryer. Landed a "BIG DEAL" client today, for showing up on short notice, and doing a job for them. Survived a month without an actual driver, had a good 1rst week with the new driver--looks promising. Was just on my porch and saw my "pet" toad for the first time in days(thought the neighbors dog did something to it) Now I am going have some of my favorite cookies and milk and I don't have to share.:)
 
Sounds like the end of a perfect day to me. :)

Well done and enjoy. My laundry is done and so is the wine (my milk).

Grats on the big deal client sometimes putting in 110% is rewarding. In March, I went through a month with no driver, it was hell...I feel for you..It is just one more thing added to list of different ways you are being pulled. Hope the new driver works out well. It is too busy now to be having to do without...Cookie without sharing, so nice, so nice.....Enjoy.
 
Lori, you are so right about being w/o a driver. Almost enough to make you quit the whole business. Here's to better days ahead. have a great weekend!~Melissa

How lovely. It's those times after the storm that we enjoy most. I hope you relished your well deserved moments of peace.

Just spent a busy week, anticipating a quiet Sunday....

hmmm

things go awry.

walk in the greenhouse and see benches 4 and 12 flooded.

contoller got stuck.

I was hoping for a light watering and some spraying today so i could go with Anna to her mom's house in stl.

wrong.

I spent the day dealing with issues, while I should have spent the day dealing with her family issues. (do a search of my fIl's funeral).

In laws!? Argh!

She and her mom go back to the hospital this morning.

The wrap comes off today, and the cast goes on.

So far so good, she hasn't complained once about the pins in her finger.
 
I hope everything goes well. My 12 yr old son broke his leg badly in Feb., doing fine now but a trying time. It's hard to see your kids down and out of action. good luck with everything else. Better days ahead!
