I'm trying not to right now

I think those guys are great designers and sexy floral rock stars.

They were featured at AIFD last summer and were everything I expected and more. Terrific technique, glib conversation, fresh, fun and very approachable.

Their hands-on class was a high point.

i wish there was a way i could move my career into more installation art.
I'm guessing those guys would too, because if it was really lucrative, they'd be doing it instead of being on the road.

The number of independent designers I know that make a living exclusively doing floral art is about ...um..... Well most of them make their real income teaching, lecturing, consulting or doing more classic work in addition to the art. ;)

I totally agree with Cathy's assessments. She is right on with all the comments she made. The three guys were amazing at AIFD.

I, too, would love to do nothing by floral art.....but, I can't afford me and my customers would not buy enough of it to keep me going.

I took their class at symposium last year.
It was an ok class. I thought that Tomas de Bruyne (sp?) was the best instructor. I learned a few things. Wasn't crazy about the class format. A little chaotic and unorganized. Tomas is heading the floral team for the upcoming Olympics.
