They take over Aug 1st. I am going to work just part time . getting very tired of 7 days a week for 30+ yrs. I want to know i can have a real day off , like today we close at noon, but worked till 1:30 pm (funeral) and i just went down and there was another order , so i filled and delivered it .. Being in retail for over 40 yrs takes its toll on the legs as i never sit down while i'm at work ony to have lunch and most days i am down there by 7:30 am , just out of habit to get things done before phones start ringing at 8:30 am .. I want to play golf again and i havent played in over 2 yrs but i am going out now and loving it

Joanne... I guarantee you will not for one tiny little second regret this decision. I can honestly say I'm the happiest I've ever been in a very long time without the stress of retail world.

Oh V!!!!
I so agree with you as you have been in the retail sector for yrs as well. Already i feel the stress level easing as we now have everything complete and in order . I will work a day and half and leave when i am finished and not have to take it home with me. Waking up in the middle of the night thinking i have forgot something and running to check on cooler as we have 2 large weddins in there, ohhhhhhhhhh i am so not gonna miss THAT!!!! lol

I got 29 years into this,I need to go part time.Glad you have that option.That is awesome - CONGRATS!!
