Local SEO: Google recommends reviews, blog citations

For those of you still unconvinced blogs help with your SEO, Google just released an official Tips to help Google Users Find and Connect With Your Business.

Most of the tips apply to your LBC listing, but the last line deserves attention:

• Encourage customers to review your business or to blog about it. Google uses these to improve search results too.

I think we all agree reviews help, but a vocal group here in FC continues to see blogs as a fad. oke:

It's now official though - the 'fad' can help your business.
