Location.......

Ryan, Is it possible to make the location field mandatory when registering for this board?
I notice many people register with shop name and no location, and when we "send" wire orders it would be a great help as we like to send to florists we know are up to speed whenever possible.

Yes I think most of the questions that are being asked are pertinent, to this board. IF Someone does not want to submit thier information then maybe they don't want to joIn~! I really do think it should be mandatory as well. We should know to keep those that are not " true" to the industry off and away!

At this time, I don't think it is possible to make location mandatory... but that is something I am persuing. It means a lot more work for me when people do NOT include their location. I typically email them as the first step to verifying that they qualify to be here. Having a location means I can at least be sure there is such a business in that city.

We are expecting a major update to the board software soon. I've held off on adding features, or "hacks," as I will just have to do them all over again anyway!

I will see what I can do about making the location field mandatory.
