Teleflora has sent out flyers and advertised in newspapers in Toronto. So one of our customers saw the Look of Love and wants it for VD. No problem, I said, I'll just find a florist who carries it and either send them the order or ask them to sell me the vase. (We are not members.) So I have spent some time now looking for a Toronto florist who actually carries this thing. Several florists have it on their website, but when I call them, they say Teleflora just put it there, but they don't have it. Flowers by Sears is advertising it but FbS is owned by TF. Who is filling the orders for them?

As far as I know, Phillips Flowers (our not so good buddy Russ, from The Arrangement) out of IL handles the transactions, from the above Sears own the domain, and the orders are funneled through Teleflora...so any TF member could be filling them...
 
Fewer and fewer florists are willing to carry the specials and if they do, they only order minimums on them, like us. On wireouts we don't guarantee a specific container, we just say we'll try, and we do. Teleflora has gotten to where they will send 12 instead of making people order 24 like they used to, that makes it more doable to some extent.

I see your picture, and right away I see, "The Look of Love"....:)
So, let me ask, IF you know that Sears, The Bay, or Winners is carrying a particular item, you think maybe THEY'D phone around to see if THEY have the product that YOU are trying to "sell"??
For many years, we've "tried" to be THE GO TO PLACE, when people look for stuff......and they STILL want something we don't have, or carry!
"No, I'm sorry, we don't carry that brand".......
 
I guess old habits die hard.. I was here at 11 pm Thursday to see an order safely off to Thailand, then in by 8 Friday morning to call Antigonish! Have a really hard time with any line that starts with "No, I'm sorry..." But this may be the one. I do see that Brant's can do it for $149 but since I only sold it for $95, that won't work!
