I admit I am a little addicted to this game in the arcade, but I have to ask the current record holder, how the heck did you get that score! I am sure there are others here wondering! What is the secret? That sure was a huge jump in score after many years of the high scoren only differing by 30 or so??
 
Missy, this game ticks me off!!! I have time to spare and I win the first board, but it goes directly to submit. ARGGGG!!!!!

no Kidding!!!!

I have this flash game which has 6-7 levels and the one on the arcade makes me pull out my HAIR!!!!

and of course its addictive!
 
I know it's my chief source of addiction in the arcade. Does anyone else find that they get a lot of errors with it?

Ok, so what are you offering in exchange for this ancient chinese secret?
I can't just give away my secret and have someone trying to dethrone me.....it's the only game I have even gotten close to a title on! I mean, someone out there has like 53 high scores!! But apparently that means nothing compared to my Mahjongg Score...now I have a thread dedicated to my Victory!!!! Don't you think this info is worth a little something??:sofa:
 
not so much that we want to dethrone you (but we will TRY) but it gets irritating when you get booted with errors
 
I can only get through two boards at the most. Most times, when I do really good on my first board, you know, not using a lot of clues, making good time, etc, it won't let me go to the second board.

I've never gotten past that second board, it's frustrating.

I have a problem with 'twelve swap'. I dont understand why the screen always closes after a few minutes "free trial is over". The record champ on that game has close to 5000 points or maybe more and i'm bitter. I dont get it.
Thanks for starting this thread, ive wanted someone to listen to my complaining about this for a while now.
Now I feel better. Thanks

and by the way Mahjong is no better. The good version (the one thats clear to read) doesnt record points and the other is just plain crap.

I can help you with twelve swap, that's the one I'm champ on. I lose far more than I win on that game. The trick is to find your matches as quickly as you can. I play from the bottom of the screen up to try and maximize amount of plays I have.

Well, I can't say that any of my titles are precious enough that I am hiding any gaming secrets, in fact, I don't have any, just some luck.So I don't expect the Caramilk secret here.( Although I think I know it!)I was just wondering how many boards did you get through to get that score? I have never made it through more than 2, ever! I would love to watch you play the game as I am guessing your eyes are younger than mine!
As for the twelve swap, I am not even close but I might be if I had more than a free trial!
Just nice to know everyone enjoys that arcade as much as I do!
 
I've never made it passed the second board either folks. More often than not it blows me out after successfully completing the first board. :(

Ok, just so everyone doesn't get the impression that I am a bad sport, I'm gonna get off the "BIG SECRET".

There really is no hidden clues to winning big at this game. As I'm sure as alot of you noticed, the game can throw errors. That is because it is linked in from another site, so you have a slight internet delay. Bigger delay if you are on dial-up. With this being said, if you ever pay attention to your time you will notice when it gets to a little less than half it starts going much faster. That IS part of the game, but you are already losing 1-2 seconds more than you think. That's why alot of times right as you clear the board, with little or no time left, it goes to submit score. Sometimes it even has Next Level behind the submit screen. When that happens, it means you were at the least amount of time left when you cleared & before the program has time to read your last click the other page already loaded to end your game. Technically, this may not be right, but it is my guess and it sounds good!!

My tips are this:

1. Don't use any hints!!! They make the time go faster as well and you lose points in the end.
2. If you don't use the hints you can acummulate more to take to the harder levels, b/c you will need them there.
3. Study the board before clicking anything and make your selections as fast as you can. Don't worry about losing a little time in the beginning, as it WILL go back up to full if you make a lot of consistant selections.
4. Work your way from the center out. If you clear a straight line out of the center, you can start taking out the bottom row using the tiles as far away as the top row.
5. Buy a CD-R version of Mahjong and play until you can't see straight.

*I have a CD that has about 30 different styles of this game and I played it fanatically.
Hope this helps everyone, and I really wasn't trying to hold back. Although I do admit that I secretly enjoyed the emails and reading the replies. Glad so many of you here like pulling your hair out for this game just like I do!! :hug:

No kidding about the time thing. I had a day off and thought " I'll just play a quick game before I get down to Biz and...... hours later.

Just a quickie question. Are you guys getting more than 2 levels in the chat arcade?
