Doing a chuppa this May and want to incorporate strans of orchids (about 6' long) within the curtains that drape the vertical poles. I'd use dend. orchids. Want to use 4 strans per side that will tie back like a curtain.

What is the easiest and most cost-effective way to create this look? Should I have my staff string orchids? or,
Should I purchase leis and can I cut them apart and re-attach to make a 6 ft. stran?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. :)

Katie it's much cheaper to buy them from www.hawaiianresources.com and tell them what you are doing. Instead of leis have them tie of the ends of the strings. Singles are the cheapest, but if you have the money order the doubles. They can make 6 foot strands for you.
