Hi everyone, I am new to these forums as you may notice by my 1 post next to my name :>

Apart from that I was wondering if anyone knows of or has experience with a wire service call MAS, I’m not sure what it stands for or it they have a web site, im not even sure if it a wire service or just a large metro florists. I only found this site while searching for them. I think they are located in the US or Canada

I am sorry for the vague question but unfortunately I don’t have any information on them at all and was hoping that someone here could help.

I have tries the search function on this forum but it does not except anything under 4 character :(

Thanks for all our help in advance

I think you are thinking of MAS the excellent POS Florist management system.

Hal one of this boards members can answer your questions regarding this system much better than I ever could as Hal works for this company.

Now if you are looking for a affordable Wire service I would be happy to talk to you about it. My email address is [email protected] I'm the owner of Blossoms Network and our website is at www.tryblossoms.com

Soon....perhaps VERY Soon !:>

Warpet,
If you're paying the sending florist 28% and the destination country a CHF (clearing house fee) and maybe (?) your fee also what percentage of the original order does the filling florist receive?

I admit freely I've used Petals for sending to Australia. Quite often they provide faster service and better options than TF/FTD/Blossoms/etc. I've never had a complaint with their service.

We have that commission rate here in Australia, the sending florists gets a commission of 28% and the supplying florists gets a supplying commission of 72%. and a CHF of $7.70 AUD and a delivery of $8.30 AUD.

For international order at the moment we work on the 75% - 25% commission rate gross less any credit card transaction fees. There will also a $4 USD international retrans fee and the local CHF

@Rosiescenario

yes you are quite correct, we have a network of some 2000 florists in Australia and can send flowers to over 70 countries around the world and still growing.

Some of the URL that you have listed are our affiliates eg www.worldwidepetals.com, www.charityflowers.com , www.rapidroses.com etc. We also have a Canadian web site http://www.petalsflowers-canada.com

We have the ability to send order and messages in real time online. This eliminates the problem with times zones. Lets say you place an order online in your florists in Canada that will be going to Germany. Within 15mins of you sending the order the florists in Germany will have received the order, even if the Clearing Houses are not open. This is also the same as if you place a message at our online wed site.

If you would like to know more about any of our services you can go to http://www.petalsnet.com or email me on [email protected]

Warpet,
Assuming that the customer pays the delivery fee along with the flower order, is the delivery fee discounted as is the flower order? Is the 7.70 CHF paid by the filling florist out of the 72% that's left?

@Rock
The $7.70AUD CHF is paid by the selling florists and there is a 72% + Delivery that is sent to the filling florist, the delivery is paid by the customer.

the 28% - 72% commission rate is only for Australian Florists, the rate for all interntaional florists is 25% - 75%
