Okay, I know some of you have done "theme" weddings.....so I get a call today regarding a March 2011 wedding. It will be held on the ice at a remote wedding destination camps/cottages/wanna be resort on a lake on snowsleds. Medieval theme, bride, Maid of Honor, 2 attendants - second wedding for both, children involved in wedding party, groom and his attendants dressed in capes, velvet shirts and pantaloons.
Colors? Black, purple, and white. She's looking for "black purple" roses.... I suggested the darkest lavender rose I could find as well as maybe black magnolia, black accessories, black ribbons... She's only looking for presentation style for attendants, roses for her young ones to "toss" - no personal flowers (bouts, corsages) and something for her.....
Small but with a vision...... any ideas?? :hammer:

You might save some dried "weedy" flowers from your garden. I used the dried centers from black-eyed susans, and salvia for bouquets with black beauty roses. Really turned out nice for halloween wedding.

I'd talk her out of any white with those deep colors. It will just disipate the intensity of the colors.
