I do so enjoy creative writing!

Quoting (emphasis mine):

Ro almost 100 years, FTD has been a pioneer in developing technology soloutions for the floral industry that make managing your business more effecient and effective. today we continue to re-invent soloutions harnessing the latest computer developements to deliver time saving efficiencies and increased profits (for FTD) for Mercury Technology shops.

As we remain committed to making improvements to the FTD Mercury Network and to maintain our competitive advantage within the floral industry, effective September1, 2005 The Network Service fee and the Mercudy Directsystem fee will be an additional $10.00 more to remain competitive. In addition, FTD rebates will be earned on orders of $29.50 or more.

I find it interesting that there was no mention of the discontinuation of Advantage effective January 2006 (pending).

Effective September 1?

How can they send out a retrocative fee increase?

Is that a rhetorical question?? "How can they"....

The ex-Tel Rep was in here 2 weeks ago ( now he is a rep for bloomlink) and said there was a bunch of rate hikes Tel was going to make this fall, guess this is the first of them!

That's negative billing and illegal up here in Canada, can't wait to get this note and refer it to the legal dept. Up here 90 written notice has to be given by any service for rate increases and so far I ain't seen any notification. Will have to call consumer and corporate affairs.
