A tie is better than a loss....
THe game was interesting, but why can't I spot you on TV?
Next year get better seats so we can get you telivised...
Now that would be a show....
Luc

It was a great game , many heart stops for sure ,tying it up in the last 30 seconds, having the game won in OT and another penalty called to keep Argos alive. Interesting start all the fighting 4 players tossed , Ti-Cats left with only 3 defensive linemen after one tossed and one carried away in the ambulance. A typical labour day classic between the boatmen and the tabbies. Mikey did they set a record for most penalties or what , I know seven on the fight , but the last time they showed it Tabbies had 18 for over 250 yards , great emotion but sometimes it gets carried away and costs you.

nope.....

had a game earlier in the season with 29 penalties, and over 300 yard/losses...same stupid ref too!!
he very much hates our section...and this is his payback!!
It was the game of the season, and I SWEAR, there were a HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE THERE....I have NEVER heard the noise levels that high!!
Both TiCat and Argo fans behaved, and were rewarded with aterrific ball game...
Mike

Hey Mikey , biggest game of the year this weekend or what , one point up on Winnipeg , with a game in hand and the game in the Peg, will try my utmost to try and catch this one . Luc , stay clear of the TV.

OK Dokie...
will not watch football this weekend....Got a roof to put on anyways...
Luc

This.....

is for almost ALL the marbles......this year.
IF I may be honest...after last year, we didn't think the team would crash out the gate to the championship anyways, BUT, the attendance at the games has made GOING to the games an awesome experience, win, lose, or draw.
I STILL get chills, when someone makes reference to the fact that there was almost NO TEAM to support...
GO CATS GO...oski wee wee.....
Mike

Another nail biter , but they prevailed , 3 games left , 2 against Ottawa , unless they totally collapse , they should make the playoffs , what a recovery for a team that only won one game last year. Bring on those Argos in the playoffs .

a very controversial game.....

a couple of wild hits, a see saw straight arm, a crap load of penalties, a half arse kicking game (though Jamie is neither giving up, nor, is the team on him), and some pretty spectacular catches on both sides.
This was ONE HEAVY HITTING game, and could easily been put away had Troy Davis scored on second down to end the first half...before time ran out!!
It was a "playoff game" already...awesome running backs trying to outduel each other for the league rushing lead...just awesome!!
OSKI WEE WEE.....eat 'em raw...
Mike (aka Kubie)

Mikey you got your tickets for the Grey Cup game? If it keeps up you might just get to watch the Tabbies win it!! Montreal looks ripe to be beat.

We already have our 2005 ducats....

for the Earl Grey's Cup game NEXT YEAR!!(this year's we got last November)
This is a "ploy" by Montreal...they've "blown" it so many times in the past, and except for David Sanchez, and his stupid triple penalty on one play, which seemed to change the tone of the game, both were pretty evenly matched up to that point.
It was interesting to watch that particular team unravel, right before our eyes, and coach Matthews kept a pretty even keeled demenour, benched his star DB (Sanchez) and didn't even chastize any of his team's play!!
So, Montreal is STILL the team to beat, Edmonton is the "sleeper", and Hamilton has it's own destiny in it's paws that could easily take my Tabbies to the eastern final.
This is actually one of the MOST EXCITING YEARS in memory......The Tiger Cats huge turnaround, and the prospects of having our McMaster Marauders in the Vanier Cup, being held right here in Hamilton, outdoors, where it belongs!!
Oski Wee Wee....
Mike

Do you actually mean that the Vanier has left the big empty skydome to play in a stadium that might have less seats but will be filled. Smart move on somebodys part , long overdue , might get the University game on the radar screen.
