I am sure lots of people are getting ready to head to Niagara Falls for this Ontario Conference. I know many members on the committee are busy getting their ready to leave a few days and be part of this show. Many long, hard work is done by many members to make this happen.
I want to wish everyone a safe trip there and back and lots of fun in Niagara Falls. I hope you come back home with more ideas to use in your shop like what we had here up North.
I will be thinking of you all....

well over 300 attendees this year....

and next year's location has already been chosen, and it's even MORE exciting!!
There have been countless hours volunteered for this event to happen, and as has happened with my Beloved Hamilton Tiger Cats, it's again proven, that give people(professional florists and the support industry) what they/it want(s) and needs, and they WILL ATTEND!!
This is TRULY a breakout year for the Ontario Florists Conference, it's 15th, and it's all because of florists, suppliers, service organizations, and a special (very special) dedicated host, that has enabled us to move to the next level.
STILL, it's ABOUT florists and FOR florists....REAL FLORISTS (as BOSS would say)....I'm almost nervous..... for a change.
We're going to be sooooo happy to see and meet with all of you that are coming, and hoping that NEXT YEAR, the rest of you can attend!!
OSKI WEE WEE (Tiger Cat speak) for ALL professional florists, with "stripes" that run ANY which way........

Sorry We Won't Be There!

Akiko and I really wanted to be there, but she is not able to travle yet! Her stitches were removed today, and her medications have stabilized. She is now working 2 to 3 hours a day! BUT she is so impatient with herself she gets depressed that she can not yet do all the things she would like to do! Thank you all for your good wishes and your prayers!

All things worth doing well take time. :) I am glad Akiko is making such a smooth recovery.

Glad things are going to well for you both! I know a few people that had the procedure she had done and they didn't recover quite this quickly. It's hard to be patient when you're an active person but it's best in the long run.

Take care,
Audra
