my good deed!!!

We got flooded here yesterday with ice jams in the grand river. Many roads , streets and business where closed due to flooding. The Volunteer Fire Dept has been going nonstop since early Friday am. They are still at it as we speak, finally got the Coast Guard Griffon into the river today to try to break up the Massive ice jam. These poor buggers have been going non stop and doing a dam fine job. At 3 pm i took all the cut bouquets and few roses we had and went to the Fire Dept and gave them to all that where there , said here divey these up and take home when u can. Man i got hugs like you wouldn't beleive from these guys !!!!!!!!! They are the best and deserve anything and everything we can give them. I can't say Thanks enough for the wonderful job they have done

The last time the Grand flooded I lived in Waterloo and my boyfriend (at the time) lived in Preston/Cambridge. His parents had to evacuate. The volunteers were amazing then too.
