Hi, I'm Jen from Leah's Flower Basket in Tallahassee, FL. We have been open in our retail shop about a year now, and worked out of a workshop for about five years before that. I am in partnership with my daughter. She is Leah. She works in the shop and I am a teacher and provide the capital. Hopefully soon that won't be necessary! (but we're not there yet!) My personal background is in design: I am an art teacher with a degree in fine arts/design. My daughter attended a vocational school. As far as flowers, we are self-taught and started like so many others, with weddings.
