I seriously don't think I can ever live with out them again. Especially when designing for a wedding.

I did 2 weddings this week. Both had natural leaf wraps. Leaf wraps on bouquet handles can be tricky. I used to glue with hot glue then super 77 then oasis floral adhesive.
Hot glue and super 77 (which I LOVE) can sometimes turn the leaves brown, and good grief, I'm too fast sometimes to wait for the Oasis glue to dry...

But lo and behold..... enter Oasis glue dashes.

I seriously f-ed up this week, well actually I got a wrong message,,,,long story, but the jist of it was I had to make (get ready for this)
1 bridal bouquet
3 brides maids bouquets
5 bouts
and 10 chair pieces
All in an hour (YES 1 freaking hour!) and all the Bouquets and the chair peices had to be first leaf wrapped and then overlayed with silver bullion.
Holy Moly, if it wern't for Oasis Glue dashes I would have been s-c-r-e-w-e-d!

One thing I can say about me is I work VERY VERY well under pressure. And I thought to myself "how the hell am I gonna make this faster than fast?" Then I remembered those glue dashes. I had bout them to fix callas to the outside of glass for another wedding, but ended up not doing it. I ALMOST took them back to the wholesale house, but decided to keep 'em. Thank goodness I did!

THEN today I was making a cascade, 2 actually. and thought I wonder how well these suckers will work on this. Double holy moly.....
You guys know I don't post many pics anymore on FC, But check out how great the back of this bouquet looks! And soooo dang fast to do it!!

LOVE Glue DASHES!!!

I wanna go on Jtv and PREACH about my new buddies, glue dashes!

Well there ya go then! You all know I want to be Hitomi when I grow up! See great minds think alike! HA!!!

I have been using uglu for over a year now....Kevin Yvislager brought them to our program and I loved them off the bat...They are great for making those windswept lookse and making hala leaves stay put and doing anything with leaves actually...They dodn't work so well with refridgerated glass, but that is ok...

Actually I have a dendrob bloom that is still attached to my reach in cooler. Still in place after 5 days -

Lori have you tried them for hanging things to the walls. We are in the process of repairing all our walls and painting. I saw their ad on tv and was hoping they work really well, I hate the idea of putting lots of nails and hooks back into the walls.

Nope, havn't tried hanging things on walls at least anything heavier than a poster(they work great for that)...

Glue dots are awesome too! Once I discovered them for bouquet and bout wraps I never turned back!

I think you'll love the dashes even more, they are flat, not bumpy like the dots.

dots are great for gluing balloons together...so I suppose dashes will be good too!
