Hi guys,
My new website was just launched overnight.
www.hangingbasketflorist.com
Yep it's a Strider.
I'd love it if any of you had the time to take a look and see if there is anything you think I could do better or if there are any typo's or bugs I may have missed.
Unfortunately the hosting company of my previous website won't respond to my requests to give me control of my old domain (www.hangingbasketflorist.com.AU) which is ranking well in Google, so I am starting from scratch to get this one out there (plus all the stationary & YP advertising I have - oh boy), all because of that daft .au. But the new site is a million times better than the old one - as one non-florist friend put it - "It's much more 2009". Plus, I have total control over content - which is very easy with the Strider template site.
Just a couple of notes - yes I have made it easy for customers to order flowers for out of town, however I will not be marketing my site outside my area and have no intention of becoming an OG. Also, you might be shocked at some of the prices but keep in mind that just for starters minimum wage here is $20/hour (and my roses, just for example, are about 20% cheaper than my competitors).
Thanks for checking it out,
Todd.
