A few weeks ago, Twila called my flower shop to speak with me. I was off for the day, and Twila asked one of my staff (Robyn) for my home number. Twila found out that my staff absolutely will not give out my private numbers...even if you swear you're from FlowerChat!

Robyn called me at home to tell me that someone who claimed to be named ~Twila~ called me and asked if that was her real name! Of course, I told Robyn...Twila is the real deal!

My staff loved her name so much, that they started calling one of our hibiscus trees ~Twila!~ They have never named a plant before and it so adorable to watch the special attention they give to Twila! Twila this, Twila that!

Twila...I sure hope you don't get sold! My staff would never recover! It's great to have ~you~ in the shop, Twila! We sure love you!

I'll sell her but the price has to be right.

Aawww Shucks....I've never had a name sake before. I wanted to name a daughter after myself and Mom, but hubby thought having two Twila's in the family was enough. I guess I'll settle for having a beautiful plant named after me instead. I'm so flattered.:blowkiss: Don't want to sound greedy, but anybody else....? (just kidding - well kinda) Luv U Dianne!!

Does that mean she

That is a cute story! I just got some Double Knockout rose bushes, I should name one Twila. :headbang:

Studioflora, Does that mean your plant has Big "knockers"like twila?
