My smile is a little bigger today....

It will be a long bit before they let you go.
You will be in the paper book for the next quarter until the next publication comes out.

I quit in jan the first week. It was April before I got the "ok you can go, don't use our name any more" letter back from them.

My advice would be to send your letters Certified Mail with receipt. It will cost you a few bucks but I felt better with the piece of mind that I had proof they had been received. 2 different times I had to say, "the letter was signed for on February 28th", then all of a sudden they "found the note on my account". Just cover your bases. Also I unhooked my Dove, for you the Merc. and stopped receiving orders on March 1st. That way when the time came all I owed for was the monthly service fees and nothing else. This also helps get you out sooner when there is not money hanging around out there owed to you by other florists or FTD. Just my opinion. Got my final statement today and if it is right it looks like they did not charge me for April at all. Maybe it's a parting gift LOL!

We quit Teleflora at the end of the year but since I still had my cc processing through them I couldn't get out. I have been staying with them at no charge for a few months because I had to buy new computers to switch over to floristware. The new computers are here, and credit card processing negotiations are underway. New strider website that worked so well at mothers day is great. We are on track to being finished with TF very soon. Yea.......I would never have had the courage to do it if not for flowerchat.

I think that's a true statement for many. It is compelling to know that it takes so much courage to do something that is so right for your business, it feels like you are flying in the face of reason because of the order volume, and yet once you are free of it, you find out for yourself how much more you can make, at 100%.

today for the first time since I joined Teleflora, my rep called and asked me if I needed anything. have never met him in person.
Nope- just the return receipt from my letter would be great- did you get it? He was shocked that I would be leaving but after explaining all the 'just flowers, 800, etc. that we've been refusing he says he also had other florists tell him the same thing. said good-bye politely and just hung up....... soon this will all be over :)
