Awesome!! Salutes and Kudos to our brave Coast Guard Men & Women!

Awesome. We have a son n law who was stationed in Hawaii and Alaska...some of his stories gave me a whole different sense of respect for the Coasties. Thank your son for us for serving his Country and helping to keep our borders as safe as they can with the limits placed on them...many people have no clue as to what the really do and how dangerous it can be...kudos to him and his mates!

You son's job is to video helicopters?

lol

Just Kidding,
We have lots of coasties amoung us here on the Outerbanks, and we all should be grateful for the jobs they and all service members do!

Yes I Am

Yes I am proud of him. This is the same son I had to hit over the head with a baseball bat in order to get him to open a book in school.

Over the last couple of years he has recieved a couple commendations. One for his work during hurricane Rita and last year for a difficult rescue that resulted in four peoples lives being saved. And when I questioned him about it, all he said was "it was just another day"

Thanks to everyone for your posts and keep all our service men and women in your prayers for all they do. They are a shining tribute to the greatness God bestowed on our country.
