I haven't allowed myself to spend much time dwelling on the news of Napco's sale to 800 flowers. I only know my initial reaction is unhappieness. We pruchase a great deal of product from Napco in most all of their product lines; glassware, ceramics, christmas perminant botanicals and occasionally a figurine or two. My rep is terrific, they have great customer service and excellent deals on shipping if you spend over a certain amount. Twice I have even taken advantage of their free trips to Las Vegas for their sneak peak seasonal product reviews. (a nice perk by the way).
So why am I upset? I don't like to see ANY independant company rolled into a wire service. Selfishly,I can't imagine it will be good for me. I am not a member of Bloomnet and don't see myself joining for numerious reasons, but certainly not to get a better deal from a provider.
Anyone care to help me out, and help me sort though these feelings?? What do YOU see happening now that the deal is sealed? Perhaps I need to look at it from another point of view. I'm open for your suggestions if you would like to share..
