Your domain expired and was not renewed.

You may have a chance to renew it before it goes on the market, if you hurry. Who do you register your domains through?

Hmm ... looks like it expired in January. It appears to be for sale, but will likely cost a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars.

Would Typepad be a possibility?

I thought I read it expired in January 2007. It was updated on March 5th of this year though.

Created Jan 07, currently expired Jan 09 - hence it likely expired in Jan 08 and was claimed when it wasn't renewed.

Tom, you have to find out who was responsible for that domain name, and then talk to them about the cost of recovering it. On the down side, if it expired in January and you didn't notice until March, you're not likely going to be able to claim much in the way of damages.
