We had a nonprofit ask us to donate centerpieces for a fund raiser for Fallen Officers. I agreed to do the 26 centerpieces. The date was changed to 2/17/07. I figured we could do something simple (wasn't too happy about the date change). Then to make it even more fun they brought in a pressed wood sign holder. The sign holder had a circular piece about 18" across at the bottom, a pole was attached to the middle of the circle and was about 30" high. We needed something easy because we knew we would be tired. We wrapped smilex on the bottom and up the pole so the pole didn't show. We then added flowers on the bottom and a few up the pole. It looked nice and we received compliments.
They want us to do it next year. I told them we would as long as they didn't have it right after Valentine's Day. Has anyone decorated one of these sign holder? I would appreciate any ideas.
