I have a consultation soon with a Bride that is having an elegant B&W (well cream actually) wedding and wants to incorporate pearls in her centerpieces. She is having 300 guests meaning 30 tables. She wants a few different designs throughout the room. Any ideas? Seems to be in the moderate price range. Thanks in advance for your help, you guys are awesome!

How about creamy white roses with black river rocks in a rose bowl... or a traditional round centerpiece with a cream taper and flowers with black velvet ribbon wound through the piece... as for the pearls, we used pearl buttons and wired them so we could use them in centerpieces and bouquets. Hope this helps.

I forgot... just got a flyer from one of my suppliers (DWF) that has black ceramic eartheware containers from syndicate, maybe you could use them if the bride likes them...

All that I could think of was black containers and/or black ribbon, but I finally had a slightly different thought. You could use black beads, ropes of them tied around white vases or worked through the flowers or individual ones tucked into the flowers themselves. Just trying to give another idea.....

Pearls

If you still need an idea for pearls:
Trim pearl-headed corsage pins and stick them straight into the top of roses/ CDN's/ carns/ whatever you use in bouquets or centerpieces.

Hello, friend,

New to FlowerChat - nice to be here!

We recently did a Bridal Show where one of our sample bouquets had a pearl wrapped handle tr4eatment. A bride was crazy over it and wanted to carry it into her reception. We used an inexpensive bubble bowl and pearl-strand wrapped it just like the handle treatment. I thought it might appear heavy but it was very attractive. Maybe this suggestion will help you?
