I need a new source for ribbons. My local resource is too restrictive in color choices and types. I love Midori, but it's just too expensive for most brides. In particular, I need 6" wide chiffon ribbons... Any suggestions?:flower:

I love May Arts for that type of ribbon. It is very similar to Midori but WAY less expensive!!!! I have their info if you want it. I also but from Lion and Designer Dispatch for more everyday stuff.
Berwick/Offray has a few outlet stores at some of their locations....a bride told me about the one in Hagerstown, MD oddly enough. Can get some cheap ribbon that way. Check if any of the major companies have a factory outlet @ the actual distribution/factory. Alot of times they do.
Ditto to that! I just ordered $150 of ribbons last week from Midori, and I had to pay $100 in shipping/brokerage fees!!!!!!!!!! That was a one time transaction as far as I'm concerned.
I know Mokuba has some stores (new one in Toronto for the Canadians). I would check there. And next time, I'm driving to Toronto to get my ribbon! Gas is cheaper then $100 brokerage fees...

Lally, When you buy from the US if you can use the US Postal Service for shipping, your goods will arrive by Canada Post and they will collect the GST and you won't need a broker.
