Ryan the new board looks great. However, I am unable to post from my computer at home. I get a lovely green screen with the words, but no access to reply etc. I have Windows '95 and am on Netscape... is that the problem? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I really don't know, V. I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Not working here either

I am baffled as it doesn't work on Netscape on this computer either... I really miss being able to participate on the board.

May the Gods of computers descends on you soon so you can get a new one.

What version of netscape are you using? if it's 4.73 or older you will likely have to upgrade to 6.0 or better yet to 7.1

I'd have to agree with BBJ on the browser comment. Older browser versions don't support many of the new features used in web software now. I'm not an avid Netscape fan, but I know that NS4.73 has some difficulties with javascript as well as many other issues. This is posted with NS7.1 and it seems to look fine??? I thought MS discontinued support of Win95... so it may be time for a new computer purchase (they are dirt cheap now). Many prepacked BBS, CMS or Chat applications don't take that into consideration when releasing their products, especially if they are open source.

Uh guys, you're forgetting one thing. If she's using Windows95 still, it may be an older computer. At lot of those older pcs work just fine, but they have hard-drive limits which make loading new browsers problematic.

I'd be happy to quote on a cheapy new 'puter complete with up-to-date browser :)

Meantime, Win95 + Netscape = potentially lethal.

(Who loves his INDUSTRY STANDARD Internet Explorer + MyIE2 Add-on)

MyIE2

Basically, it's an overlay for IE that allows you to incorporate many extra features and still run the IE engine that 95% of websites are designed for. Plus, there are a pile of 3rd party plug-ins you can add for more features.

Check it out at www.myie2.com

MyIE2 is the most powerful and fully customized browser on earth. It can open multiple web pages in just one window, and comes with tons of other nice features.

Tabbed Browsing Interface
Mouse Gestures
Super Drag&Drop
Privacy Protection
AD Hunter
Google Bar Support
External Utility Bar
Skinning
Save Windows into "Groups"

Hi Ryan... :) I'm on a different computer. What kind of price are you thinking? I have a new printer, keyboard, mouse and my monitor is fine.
