We've been open 8AM to 6PM for over 30 years!:hug: Next week we start being here & open till all orders for the next day are ready for delivery!

Yesterday was our first busy day in quite a while. As Mikey mentioned in another post, money was beginning to get a bit tight. We have several orders on the log for the remainder of the week, but it was surely scary for a little over a month here. An even scarier thought is that it can all nosedive again. Whew!

Yea, DEAD here too...until Today...all of a sudden Christmas (no, not TG) has started...three corp. customers called asking for prices on Poinsettias, decor, etc... Two repeat customers, one a new account... THEN...funeral work starts coming in ... YEA!

From what I see (and hear from 3 wholesalers) not much TG buying going on! Me thinks florists are dang scared of next week...I am being VERY tight with buying...

From one of my customers today... Thanksgiving is a forgotten Holiday...just like Easter!

I tend to disagree if I look at last years numbers...but will have to reserve judgement until I see this years...next week....

I concur on the funeral work tho Herb...8 casket sprays in the last 10 days and two more for tomorrow...and yes...the corporate work and house parties seem to be starting early this year!!

I'm with you...buying very, very cautiously for Thanksgiving. Sure hoping that Thanksgiving is better for us this year! Last year it was a real TURKEY!
